Jackson County Economic Development Strategic Plan

We need your help! Jackson County is in the process of developing an Economic Development Strategic Plan. The Top of Alabama Regional Council of Governments is conducting a citizens survey and a local business survey on behalf of Jackson County. We are asking residents and local business owners their opinions and attitudes in relation to local growth, quality of life, and economic development within Jackson County. We encourage you to distribute this survey to the citizens and business owners within the local area; completion of these surveys will aide us in gauging public opinion. If your organization has a website or a social media page (Facebook, Etc.) hosting a notification of these surveys for your constituents would greatly help garner public participation.

These surveys will be an important part of understanding what growth and economic development policies residents and business owners support. The more responses we receive, the better informed we will be to address key issues about your local economy. All responses to these surveys are anonymous therefore your identify will not be revealed. The results of these surveys will be used to review and advance economic development strategies within the area.

Your opinions are important to us; please complete these surveys no later than Thursday, December 31, 2015. If you have any questions please contact Mr. Kevin Bernard, Associate Planner, TARCOG at 256-830-0818.

Thank you for your participation!
