The PEACE (Prevent Elder Abuse and Criminal Exploitation) Coalition will be holding its 3nd Caregiver College on Friday, June 16th from 8:30 am until 3:00 pm at the Atrium (220 Wynn Drive) in Huntsville. The PEACE coalition is a multidisciplinary group committed to addressing issues involving abuse and exploitation of the elderly and other vulnerable groups of people. For the past eight (8) years, the coalition has organized a community event to commemorate World Elder Abuse Awareness Day.
Admission to this event is free to the general public. Free Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) will be offered for Assisted Living Administrators, Nursing Home Administrators, Nurses and Social Workers. Respite vouchers will be available for caregivers.
